It was so great to be back out and competing over the Easter holidays and the St Helen’s students had a fantastic start to the season at Bury Farm Show Jumping on 9 April. Both as individuals and as a team they had a really successful and fun day of show jumping.
Lily (8K), Scarlett (11J), Amy (9K) and Chloe (9M) rode as a team in the 80cm and were placed 2nd. This is a super achievement and qualifies the team for the 24th Annual NSEA National Schools Championship at Addington in October. Well done!
Lily and her pony Quinney came first in the 70cm, which is always a big class with lots of entries.
Scarlett went on to jump a lovely double clear in the 90cm on her pony Mandy II.
Amy was riding with the group for the first time. She did two great clear rounds on her pony Alfie in the 80cm and 90cm. Amy and Alfie were placed individual 6th in the 80cm and 4th in the 90cm.
Chloe and her new pony Mouse had a super clear round in the 80cm at their first real competition together.
Well done everyone and looking forward to lots more events in the coming weeks.
