On Thursday 18 January the Studio Theatre was treated to the sound of the annual Chamber Music Concert. This is a chance for the groups to perform what they have been working on over the year so far. There was a large variety of musical genres ranging from Telemann played by the Broadwood Quartet to the Stradivarius Quintet performing The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and many more. Students from Years 7 to U6 were getting involved, each bringing something new with percussion, strings and woodwind making for a very entertaining performance. This is also a great opportunity for the performers to practice for tea concerts or the upcoming Oxford Music Festival and Pro Corda competitions. Many thanks to all the teachers for putting the time to coach these Chamber Groups and to the Music Department for organising all the concerts at St Helen and St Katharine.
