Merry Christmas from everyone at St Helen's!
Christmas at St Helen’s means a wonderful variety of creative activities spring up, involving students all across the School. Whether it is the Christmas Revue, which this year saw gymnastics, singing, playing, dancing and stand-up comedy from staff as well as students, or Carols across the world when the traditional belter Ande Ande Ande rings out in YPH, there is much to enjoy.

Giving a festive twist to the usual Friday evening performances, the Christmas Tea Concert featured soloists and groups with some beautifully unusual pieces. The Juniors’ Christmas Celebration was a delightful mixture of poetry, song and a nightmare nativity, while the traditional services of Nine Lessons and Carols and Christingle were anchor points of calm within the hustle and bustle of Christmas jumpers and tree decorating. Big Band were on fine form in their assembly with toe-tapping arrangements of festive favourites such as Let It Snow (though not next term, Mrs Dougall pleads…).
