The theme for this year’s evening of musical theatre was ‘Jet Set - Around the World’, which took the audience from the streets of 1950s New York, to 19th century London, to a remote Polynesian island. The evening was full of energy, enthusiasm, and talent from students of all ages. Performers from Middle School showed huge talent, such as Amelia’s (10L) enchanting Bali Ha’i from South Pacific, and Alice’s (10M) beautiful performance of On the Streets of Dublin from A Man of No Importance. Members of Upper Sixth were outstanding in their final show with the club, with a wonderfully feisty rendition of West Side Story’s America and Jess' (U6C) hilarious take on I Cain’t Say No from Oklahoma. A particular highlight was the group performance of Façade from Jekyll & Hyde – impeccably choreographed and delivered with immense enthusiasm. It was a fantastic evening of song and dance, thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
