In May, the Junior Department embarked on a residential to Little Canada PGL on the Isle of Wight. The fun started as soon as we got on to the bus as the Juniors provided lots of entertainment, singing the water cycle song, the periodic table song, the pi song and various others. By the time we crossed the Solent, our voices were exhausted but that was only the start.
From our arrival every moment was remarkable. All the Juniors took part in sailing, getting very wet and the blindfolded muddy sensory trail. Even Mrs Anderson had a go at the terrifying giant swing. Fears were faced on Jacob’s ladder, climbing and the vertical challenge, and we pulled enough ropes to last us a lifetime. For many, the highlights of the trip were the dorms of six in which we slept. Throughout the experience the Juniors worked together and built trust on an unforgettable three days.
