A group of year 10 girls set out to Warwick University on 28 November. We all had a really stimulating and enjoyable time learning about all sorts of different sides to maths which most of us didn’t really know existed. We learnt about the Fibonacci sequence and how it occurred every day in nature which is fascinating. We also learnt about how most number games can be won within the first move if you work out the binary and do the correct maths; I wouldn’t want to play a game of numbers with a Mathematician! I would recommend this trip as you really wouldn’t want to miss out on a fun day like this one.
