The Oxford University Computing Challenge, designed to test our computational thinking skills, took place in the week beginning 22 February. All who took part in the challenge had previously completed the UK Bebras Challenge which helped prepare us for the problems we would have to solve using logical thinking. We had an hour to complete as many questions as possible, which included challenges solvable using Blockly, a way of coding using visual blocks. Ordinarily we would have taken the challenge at school but due to the lockdown we had to do it online from our home computers. This felt quite different for those of us that had done the challenge before, but it was great to be able to take part in the challenge again and to improve my thinking under time pressure.
