Sports Day 2019 was a great day full of sporting success and House spirit. The sunny weather was perfect for the morning of athletics, followed by a well-deserved barbecue cooked by Olivier and his team.
The competitive spirt of each House was displayed through well fought races, field events and House chants with everyone getting involved. A number of track and field events were completed allowing everyone to find an event they could participate in and enjoy. A highlight of the day included the Junior Department obstacle race which saw House Prefects and Junior students working together in an entertaining battle, in which Paterson stole the victory. The 24-man relay was the pinnacle of the day. Benedict stormed ahead taking the lead until Paterson overtook on the last leg to secure the win. Overall it was a perfect round-up to another year of sporting success, with many impressive school records being broken. Well done to everyone who competed and to the supporters!
