Thinking Supper on collective responsibility

The topic was collective responsibility, with the stimulus material being the Address of His Holiness Pope Francis on Monday 27 May 2019 to Finance Ministers from various nations, looking at ‘Climate Change and New Evidence from Science, Engineering and Policy’. There was great attendance and a great time was had by both schools.

‘The Thinking Supper provoked a lot of thought about pressing and existential problems happening in our world. The topic was social anthropology and we discussed the urgent topic of climate change, thinking about the causes, effects and possible solutions that should be taken by not only by politicians but also by each one of us because this is a crisis that affects humanity. Using the Pope’s speech to the UN we were aided in our responses to the provided questions. Pizza and brownies were definitely a highlight!’
