Mrs Alpers began as head of the Food and Nutrition department in September. She has just completed her MSc in Applied Human Nutrition at Oxford Brookes University and previously taught both Food and Nutrition and English in schools around Oxford and in New Zealand. She loves nothing more than fighting food fads with science.
The blog is written by Mrs Alpers with the help of students from years 7 - 11 and includes recipes, photographs and nutrition news. We would love you to try out the recipes at home and welcome your feedback.
