We are proud of the immense talent and knowledge among Old Girls, and the fact that many of you generously give your time to support current students or younger Old Girls. Opportunities to get involved include joining the Kate Scheme to mentor a student as they manage the transition to university and the world of work, coming to School events to provide university and careers advice, or offering work experience. All these are of immeasurable value for students, and the shared school connection allows an easy relationship to develop.
The network of Old Girls provides support to students as soon as they have left school through 'Universitea', where we link freshers up with Old Girls who are established at the same university, providing a friendly face to meet with at the start of term over a cup of tea or even a Kit-Kat to commemorate St Kate's Day in November!
If you are interested in offering any support to current students please get in touch with Georgie Blackmore, Alumnae Services Manager, oldgirls@shsk.org.uk.
