Friday, 24 January was the last in a series of 5 Try Scuba Dive sessions that we have organised between November and January in partnership with Oxford Sub Aqua Club based at Radley pool.
Twenty students have participated in this activity and all have achieved their ‘Introductory Try Dive’ certificate which allows them to progress with the club in further training if they choose.
‘I enjoyed the Try SCUBA session at Radley. At first, it was challenging to breathe slowly through our mouths underwater and to carry the heavy air tanks. The most enjoyable part was throwing and catching the vortex in the deepest part of the pool, which was 3.5 metres. I would definitely like to do it again.’
