Job Description
We are looking to recruit a conscientious team member to join our Catering team to assist with our busy lunch service.
The Catering team produces around 900 meals each day for students and staff and our Kitchen Porters play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of the lunchtime period.
This position is an permanent part-time role working 6 hours a day (8.45am-2.45pm) Monday to Friday during term-time plus 3 weeks during the School holidays.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare basis food as directed by the Chefs
- Help with food deliveries
- Provide front of house assistance during the service to replenish food counters and equipment
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy
- To comply with food safety, health and hygiene requirements
