Job Description

We are looking to recruit a conscientious team member to join our Catering team to assist with our busy lunch service.

 

The Catering team produces around 900 meals each day for students and staff and our Kitchen Porters play a key role in the plate and potwash sections in the kitchen supporting the smooth delivery of the lunchtime period.

 

This role is fixed-term position, working 4 hours a day (10.45am-2.45pm) Monday to Friday during term-time only.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To use the plate and potwash machines to clean kitchen equipment.
  • To support the food deliveries
  • Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy
  • To comply with food safety, health and hygiene requirements
