The Sports Awards Evening 2025 was held on Thursday 27 March in the YPH Theatre. We welcomed students, parents, teachers and Old Girls to celebrate an incredible year of sport.
Our guest speakers for the evening were Ella Lovibond (OG 2021), who has represented England Rugby 7s and is a semi-professional player for Bristol Bears, and Emma Savage, an England senior lacrosse player and medic at Cardiff University. We were delighted to welcome them as they presented awards and spoke about their sporting journeys, covering everything from nutrition and work-life balance to overcoming injury.
Awards were presented from Year 7 through to our departing Upper Sixth, recognising excellence across all sports and activities—not just for performance, but also for teamwork and sportsmanship.
Kitty (U6), our outgoing Sports Captain, along with the senior sports captains, spoke about the recent successes across the various teams.
The evening concluded with the ‘Team of the Year’ award, which went to the Senior 1st XI football team for reaching the final of the ISFA Trophy 2024.
Well done to everyone involved in school sport, and congratulations to all our award winners. Best of luck to our Upper Sixth leavers—we wish you every success in your future sporting endeavours.
