The students enjoyed a wonderfully ecstatic day trying on costumes at the famous Warner Bros Studios in London.
We first headed into a room where we learnt about character costumes and how they would be adapted to fit each actor’s personality and background. We even got to see the real costumes used in the making of the films! It was fascinating.
Soon after, we entered through the huge oak doors into the Great Hall, all set up for Hogwarts in the Snow (for Christmas). Then the magic began! We saw Snape’s potion classroom, the Ministry of Magic, the Weasley’s Burrow, Quidditch and so much more! All secrets were unveiled and we got to have a green screen picture of us catching the popular golden snitch. All of this was incredible and when I asked some of my classmates what their favourite things were, they told me that they loved the classic red steam train and learning about how the fairytale creatures were made. One of the top favourites was the jelly beans which were either disgusting or delicious!
The trip ended up being an incredibly breathtaking and whimsical experience that everyone, including teachers absolutely loved.
