Lower Sixth students enjoyed connecting with nature as they planted bulbs to nurture over the coming year.
The initiative was designed to emphasise the beauty of nurture and growth and to give the girls a connection to nature that they could focus on until they leave the School. Each Form group was given a large pot which they decorated in an array of colours and pictures – then it was time to start planting!
The groups all had the same bulbs and had to follow the instructions to plant them in their decorated pots under the watchful eye of our groundsman, Rob. It was a fun start to a rainy morning and the girls are looking forward to seeing the first shoots appearing in March, and discovering whether they have ‘green fingers’!
