St Helen’s has seen the most successful year yet in badminton, with more friendly fixtures and national competitions than ever.
The U14 team reached the final eight in the country in the School Sport Magazine Cup and competed in the regional round after becoming county champions. The U16 teams continue to participate in all competitions as well and it is becoming a popular option for GCSE PE students as one of their assessed activities.
With multiple opportunities every week to come and play at lunchtime and after school, participation numbers are ever increasing. Well done to all those who took part in the fixtures this year.
