Y8 Mandarin students enjoyed a day of Chinese culture in London.
Firstly the students visited the British Museum to explore the Chinese galleries. They had the chance to marvel at beautiful objects, including jade artefacts and ceramics. To finish the day, a trip to China Town to savour traditional food and drink. The whole trip was a great success and a chance to learn more about Chinese heritage and Mandarin outside of the classroom.
On our trip to the British Museum, we learned about Chinese culture. We explored China's deep and rich history. We saw many interesting artefacts such as a jade teapot and ceramic bowls. After visiting the British Museum, we explored China Town and ended our trip with a full stomach from Chinese food.Ruby J, Year 8
