Students collect food items for the Abingdon Foodbank.
The need for support remains more acute than ever and demands on Foodbanks across the country are rising. A box of food can make a huge difference to someone in crisis and can also help to prevent crime and homelessness. St Helen’s students have done a fantastic job of collecting much-needed goods such as pasta, tinned fruit and vegetables. In fact, this year they have donated a whopping 455 kg of produce – that’s the equivalent weight of a Bactrian Camel! Find out more about the Abingdon Foodbank here.
