During Outdoor Learning, the students were tasked with a leadership challenge to complete in small groups.
They were given a tent to pitch as a group but were given no instructions and had to figure out how to do this. All the groups were successful but faced some challenges along the way, such as working out where the poles went, how to use the guy ropes, and how to get the pegs to stay in. There was lots of discussion going on throughout the challenge. The groups enjoyed a few minutes in the tent before reversing the process and packing the tents up and putting them back in their storage bags – perhaps the most difficult bit of the task!
