The Lower Sixth explored sand dune succession in Studland and coastal management in Swanage.
The students, as part of their A Level Geography field work requirements, commented that: ‘during the trip we had some nice warm weather which was perfect for being by the sea. As well as exploring the beautiful sand dunes and town of Swanage, the field trip was very useful as a head start for those of us that are basing our fieldwork on coastal processes. We had a lot of fun, and it was great bonding experience for us as a group, including our trip on the Thursday to a pizza restaurant.’
