What an amazing experience for our Chapel Choir to perform at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall in the final!
The Barnardo’s National Choir Competition is the biggest community and school choir competition in the UK and is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate music, whilst also raising money to go towards the charity’s work helping young people feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful.
Singing in such a prestigious venue was both exciting and nerve-wracking but something we will never forget. Hearing the other choirs was incredibly inspiring and there was a real sense of support between everyone taking part. For us, the experience was about more than just the competition, it was about the journey, the teamwork and pushing ourselves to perform at our best.
We came away feeling really proud of what we achieved together.
