Visiting Salamanca was an unforgettable experience that enabled us to gain a real insight into Spanish history and culture.
We stayed with host families which really helped us to feel integrated into the culture and provided plenty of opportunity to practise our Spanish conversation! In the mornings, we went to the language school where we had classes which were all really fun and allowed us to grow in confidence in our speaking, as well as extend our knowledge of grammar beyond the curriculum.
The afternoons were filled with a range of fascinating visits and cultural activities. Highlights included visiting the beautiful historic university buildings, taking in the impressive views of the city from the top of the cathedral tower, and classes in salsa dancing and Mediterranean cooking.
