We are seeking to appoint a motivated and passionate Chef de Partie on a full-time, term-time plus 3 weeks’ basis (approx. 37.6 weeks per year) to be part of our exceptional Catering team.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join a well-established and successful team, working closely with our Senior Sous Chef under the leadership of our Executive Chef, to support and further develop the catering provision within School.

Being part of our catering team is both fulfilling and rewarding, providing nutritious lunches of a high standard to around 900 students, staff and visitors daily, along with occasionally supporting hospitality events throughout the year.

The postholder will work full-time (37.5 hours per week) during the School term, plus an additional 3 weeks during the School holidays, in line with the published School term dates.  Working hours are 06.30am – 2.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. At the School’s discretion a 20% reduction in working hours during the plus 3 weeks in the School holidays can be applied, with no impact on pay.

The role attracts 6.4 weeks of pro-rated annual leave (based on 7.6 weeks of leave, inclusive of public holidays, for a full-year employee) which is to be taken during school holiday periods and payment for this is included in salary.
