Job Description

We are looking for an friendly and dedicated individual to join our Juniors Department as an Lunchtime Supervisor. 

 

The School has a Junior Department, comprising of one Year 5 and one Year 6 class and the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our Juniors during lunchtime. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and childcare with a desire to inspire young learners and have effective communication skills to engage with both students and staff.

 

This is a permanent part-time position working 10 hours a week during term-time.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To supervise students during mealtimes ensuring that they have adequate meal portions, with time to eat properly.
  • Supervision of junior students in the outdoor play area and classrooms.
  • Build relationships with students and listen to any concerns that they may have.
  • Tend to sick or injured students and report any serious accidents to the form teacher and school nurse.
  • To carry out basic admin tasks to support junior teachers.
