On Saturday 10 June, we welcomed back leavers from the classes of 1983, 1993, 2003 and 2013 for our annual SHSK Society alumnae reunion day. The event began with refreshments in the refectory which allowed guests to catch up with their fellow HelKats, followed by an address from Mrs Dougall and music performed by music scholars.
The afternoon gave Old Girls the opportunity to explore the School with tours of both new buildings, such as the Benedict Building, and older classrooms within the main school by members of the Prefect Team. The atmosphere was captivating as alumnae shared stories from their time at St Helen’s whilst taking a look at the Archives or over afternoon tea in the Quad, which was accompanied by beautiful weather.
After the event, Head of Alumnae Relations and Fundraising, Mathew Iredale commented: ‘A big thank you from the Alumnae Office to all our Old Girls and former staff who came back and shared their memories of the School with us. We look forward to seeing you on many more occasions!’
