We are delighted to have been listed in The Cricketer Magazine Schools Guide top 20 girls schools for cricket in the UK for the second year in a row.
The listing follows a successful year in cricket with a double win at the ECB Schools National Indoor Cricket Finals in May. After progressing through the county and regional rounds, our U13 and U15 teams enjoyed two days playing at the international ‘Home of Cricket’, Lord’s Cricket Ground.
In an article discussing this year’s Schools Guide, The Cricketer Magazine editor, Huw Turbervill said: “The rise of women’s cricket in schools really has been a joy to behold. It is a pleasure to read the write-ups.”
Earlier this year, we were also ranked the top girls school for sport in Oxfordshire, and 8th in the country, on the School Sport Magazine’s top 200 list.
