On Friday 9 December, Year 7 tutor groups walked over to Church Farm where a big campfire was waiting for them. Around the fire, students discussed how their first term at St Helen’s has been, the risks they thought they had taken during the term and what their goals would be going into 2024.
During the afternoon, we were joined by Lower Sixth students who shared their St Helen’s experiences with the younger students. Most importantly, they all had the opportunity to toast marshmallows over the fire and make s’mores. Each session ended with Christmas jokes and songs with some forms performing a class dance.
With four forms in Year 7, it was a busy day for all. Huge thanks go to Rob (Head Gardener) for providing and supervising the campfire.
