Food and Nutrition

Learning about what is in the food that we eat, the link between diet and health, and the ability to prepare nourishing and appealing meals are essential life skills. At our school, students are encouraged to develop independence and ambition, whilst also engaging with broader global issues such as food inequality and climate change.

Food and Nutrition is a uniquely interdisciplinary subject, drawing connections with biology, chemistry, geography, sports science and psychology. In a world where nutritional information can often be misleading, we equip our students with the critical thinking skills necessary to distinguish evidence-based nutrition facts from misinformation.
