Big Band took us back to Spring 1944 as a commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D Day.
There were some fabulous performances from the band, vocalists and soloists, all with the hits of the day. Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and others were all represented, and the Science Atrium was bedecked in suitable memorabilia, with flags aplenty for the packed house to wave.
