In my German class, we made Sächsische Quarkkäulchen, a traditional dish.
We used potatoes, quark, an egg, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and raisins. After mixing these ingredients together, we formed a dough and shaped it into small patties. We then fried the patties in vegetable oil until they were golden and crispy, finishing them off with a dusting of powdered sugar. The result was a delicious treat with a perfect balance of soft and crispy textures. It was a fun and hands-on experience, giving us a great taste of traditional German cuisine!
