At the end of Activities Week, all Year 10 students were given the opportunity to attend the annual Charity Dinner – organised by members of Sixth Form. Not only was it a chance to dress up in glamorous suits and dresses, but it was also a great opportunity to give back to the wider community.
The event was held to raise money for the School’s chosen charity, Aspire, which supports people in Oxfordshire facing unemployment and homelessness. It was a great way for everyone to come together and make a difference.
But the night wasn’t just about raising money – it was also a chance for us to bond and have some fun. Guests were served delicious feta-stuffed chicken as a main and an ice cream dessert with a wide range of toppings to choose from. There was also the opportunity to take photos on the decorated staircase, where we could capture memories with our friends. It was such a fun night, and it felt great to know that we were doing something good whilst also enjoying ourselves.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at the Charity Dinner. It was great to dress up, spend time with friends and help a good cause all at the same time. I am really grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of something so special, and I am thankful to all those students and teachers who helped make it happen.
