From societal risks and their prevention, to taking artistic risks through various modes of expression, Year 9 students produced some fantastic pieces of work during Activities Week – Mahi (9J) shares her day:
‘During Activities Week, we had a really interesting day learning about the theme of risk. We explored how to protect Japan from the tsunami that took place in March 2011. We plotted HQs for the military and other important teams, as well as the flood zones, mountains, areas of elevation, and much more. Overall, it was a very exciting day, and I learned a lot about risk assessments.’
