May saw the exciting launch of the first-ever St Helen’s Activities Week – a new initiative designed to provide a range of fun and useful experiences enabling students to challenge themselves beyond the usual curriculum.
A tailored programme for each year group included a bushcraft residential, a field trip to Lulworth, a science-based visit to a theme park, focus on well-being and time in nature, risk-themed workshops, first aid skills, one-day film school and much more. Year 10 also enjoyed thought-provoking workshops on essential work experience skills and presentation skills, while Lower Sixth travelled to Birmingham to explore a university city.
