Headmistress' Breakfast

The Headmistress' Breakfast will take place between December and June, arrival from 8.45am to 9.10am and finishing at approximately 10.30am. This is an opportunity to see the School 'in action' on a normal school day. We have a small group of families who join us for breakfast, with the opportunity to talk with the Headmistress, Mrs Dougall, and senior staff. Families then have a tour of the School campus with a current Sixth Form student. We have several Headmistress' Breakfast throughout the year, other future dates include:

Individual visit to the School

Ideally, your first visit to the School would be at our Open Day at least one year prior to entry, although we would encourage you to come along earlier - children of all ages are welcome. Following this visit, in the year prior to entry, you are invited to make an appointment with the Headmistress, to tour the School with one of our Sixth Form girls and to meet with Admissions. Please contact our Admissions Office to request an appointment.

Sixth Form Taster Day and Introduction to Sixth Form Evening

For girls interested in joining St Helen's Sixth Form in September 2019 there will be a Sixth Form Taster Day taking place in June 2019Girls will join our current Year 10 students in a day of taster lessons and activities, giving them the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a St Helen's Sixth Former. 13+ Activities Afternoon

For girls interested in joining Year 9 at St Helen's in September 2019, we will be holding an activities afternoon in June 2019. The purpose of this event is for your daughter to find out more about St Helen's and to be able to spend time with teaching staff and students.

Junior Department Open Doors Afternoon

Our Junior Department Open Doors Afternoon takes place in June 2019, starting at 1.20pm and finishing at approximately 3.30pm. This event is ideal if you are considering either Year 5 or Year 6 entry for your daughter and wish to explore further what our Junior Department has to offer. The afternoon will start with a tour of the School campus with special emphasis on the areas relating to the Junior Department, followed by talks from the Headmistress and Head of Junior Department, with an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. During afternoon tea in the Old School Hall the doors will be open to the Junior Department classrooms and breakout space to allow you to observe current students enjoying typical curriculum activities. Your daughter is very welcome to attend the afternoon with you.

Whole School Open Day

Our next Open Day will be in September 2019. This is a lively and informal occasion with a range of events and displays as well as a guided tour of the School and a talk by the Headmistress. Further information will be available nearer to the time.

A-level Options Open Evening

The next A-Level Options Open Evening will take place in October 2019. This is an important event when prospective Sixth Form students and their parents join current Year 11 students and parents to find out about our Sixth Form programme of study. There will be an opportunity to meet the Head of Sixth Form as well as A-level subject teachers and current Sixth Form students, who will be on hand to discuss chosen subjects in more detail. Further information will be available nearer to the time.
