Sixth Form
Your first visit to St Helen’s should ideally be on our whole School Open Day or another open event at least one year prior to entry.
Go to the ‘Visit us’ section of the website to find the most suitable event for you.
Candidates should be registered by the appropriate deadline, although late applications may be considered. A registration form should be completed online and the registration fee of £150 paid (£250 for students resident overseas). Once your daughter is registered you will automatically receive details about the entrance procedure.
The deadline for registering for 2025 entry is Friday 18 October 2024.
Registrations after this date are possible, and a late round of interviews and assessments will also take place in March 2025. The registration deadline for the second round of admissions is Friday 3 March 2025.
Please get in touch with the Admissions team at admissions@shsk.org.uk if you are considering making a late application. Please note that late applicants cannot be considered for a scholarship or bursary as this process concludes in November.
Registered candidates will have two interviews; one with both the Headmistress and the Head of Sixth Form and the second with another senior member of staff.
Candidates are also required to complete online reasoning tests.
Interviews take place, by arrangement with the Admissions team.
For entry in 2025, interviews will be arranged during w/c Monday 11 November 2024 and the online reasoning tests will take place on Saturday 16 November 2024.
Late applications are acceptable, subject to the availability of subjects to be studied. Interviews for late applicants take place w/c 17 March 2025.
Please be advised, late applicants are not eligible for consideration for a scholarship or bursary.
Candidates will be informed of their conditional offer on Monday 2 December 2024.
All offers require at least five 9-7 (A* to A) grades at (I)GCSE and a 9-7 or A* or A in the subjects the candidate plans to study at A level.
Letters confirming offers will be sent in late August, following receipt of (I)GCSE results.
After accepting a place, students are invited to the School on two occasions: the first for Induction Afternoon on 5 July when they will have an afternoon of activities and a chance to meet their form and their form tutor; and the second in September on ‘intake afternoon’ the day before the beginning of term.
