Welcome from the Admissions team

Welcome to St Helen and St Katharine. We are delighted that you are considering us for your daughter’s education.

Choosing the right school for your daughter can be one of the most important decisions you will make, and whether you are familiar with independent education or considering it for the first time, the Admissions team is here to help to advise and guide you through the process. Headmistress’ Breakfast

These are small open mornings, starting at 9.10am, where you will have the opportunity to hear Headmistress Mrs Dougall speak, take part in a question-and-answer session with members of senior staff and finally have a tour with one of our students. Parents are welcome to attend with or without their daughter.

The next Headmistress’ Breakfast events will take place on:

  • Thursday 21 March 2024 – all entry points – WAITLIST ONLY
  • Thursday 20 June 2024 – all entry points

Explore Sixth Form event

St Helen and St Katharine is holding a Sixth Form open event for students interested in entry in 2025 on Thursday 25 April from 4.45 – 6.30pm. Prospective students and their parents will have an introduction to life in St Helen’s Sixth Form, hearing from staff and students about the study options and the wide variety of extra-curricular activities available.  There will also be an opportunity to tour the fantastic facilities and the new Sixth Form centre, the Benedict Building. Join us in Year 7 event

On Tuesday 7 May this event is for families considering St Helen and St Katharine for their daughters for Year 7 entry in 2025 and 2026.

Prospective students and their parents will have an exciting opportunity to tour the School and its outstanding facilities and to see our Year 7 and Year 8 lessons in action. There will also be a presentation from Headmistress Mrs Dougall and the Head of Lower School Mrs Taylor who will discuss life in Year 7, the curriculum, extracurricular activities and pastoral care – and how to apply for a place.

Families can choose to attend the event either in the morning or in the afternoon. Places for each time slot are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please use the booking form below to book your place.

Family visits

Ideally, your first visit to the School would be at our Open Day at least one year prior to entry. Following this, families are warmly welcome to visit us for an individual appointment. Your visit will include a tour of the School and a meeting with a member of the Admissions team. It may also include a meeting with Headmistress Mrs Dougall on request. Meetings with the Headmistress can also take place virtually.
