Year 7 had a visit from ‘Animazing’, that brought a varied selection of animals for students to learn about.
Students really enjoyed hearing the explanations of the adaptations and behaviours of animals including hissing cockroaches, a bearded dragon, an African bullfrog, an albino hedgehog and a barn owl! Here are some quotes from the students themselves:
“I really enjoyed the visit from Animazing because Steve showed me a wide range of interesting and exciting animals such as snakes, hedgehogs and loads more.”
“I liked Animazing because I was scared of lots of the animals before but now I know they can’t harm me. The whole experience was amazing!”
“It was fascinating to learn so many facts about the animals I didn’t know before. I learnt that a hedgehog can hear out heartbeats! It was really cool holding a snake.”
