The Christmas tea concert was filled with classics including Jingle Bells, Walking in the Air and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
It was a fantastic experience to take part in. A particular highlight was PEFLECK (Year 9 vocal ensemble) who had an amazing debut performance singing A Maiden Most Gentle. I sang Ding a Ding a Ding with Bar 61 which I really enjoyed as it focuses on working together as an ensemble. We had a wide range of instruments from the guitar ensemble to tuba playing and there was a mixture of solos and group performances creating a diverse programme with something for everyone. Overall, this concert was a great way to start the Christmas celebrations at St Helen’s and I look forward to doing it again next year!
