At the Oxford Music Festival, 13 students earned outstanding success, winning multiple Class Medals.
Medals we received across across vocal, instrumental, composition and ensemble categories.
Two chamber ensembles secured second place, while five students earned top awards for the highest marks in their categories, including an invitation for Telemannia to perform in the final concert.
“I am thrilled that OMF gave me the opportunity to play in solos and ensembles given I learn piano, violin, voice and composing. This is the first time I have entered a composition class and was delighted to have been recognised with the Lennox Berkeley Composition Cup, besides retaining the Oxford Times Cup for the third time,” said Samrakshini (Y9).
Helena Rakowski, Director of Music, shared: “The Oxford Music Festival is a fantastic opportunity for our musicians to perform and compete at a regional level and to receive expert feedback from professional adjudicators. We have a long tradition of great success at the festival and I am so proud that we have seen so many wonderful performances again this year. Many congratulations to everyone who took part and particularly to medal, prize and trophy winners.”
