Towards the end of Trinity term, Years 5 and 6 impressed audiences with the Junior musical production of Wonderland.
The show was a contemporary retelling of Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass set in New York, focussing on writer Alice Cornwinkle and her 10-year-old daughter Chloe.
One of the performers, Lola (Year 6), said: ‘The Junior production was an incredible opportunity. All the Juniors were included in Wonderland – and everyone loved it. We worked hard for five weeks until the two big nights where we knocked people’s socks off! Everyone performed it perfectly. We learnt the art of performing while having so much fun.’
After the show, our talented Catering team provided a delicious Wonderland-themed feast of sweet treats for performers, students, staff, parents and other guests to enjoy.
