Congratulations to the 50 students from Year 9 who sat the WJEC Level 1 exam in Latin last summer and have recently received their certificates.
Their hard work was certainly rewarded, with every student gaining an A or above and 96% gaining A* grades.
Many of these students have now embarked on the GCSE course. They have a fantastic foundation to build on and some new challenges too as they encounter original Latin poetry for the first time and learn in more depth about the myths and culture of the Romans.
