Job description
We are seeking to appoint an efficient and highly organised individual to support our Director of Finance and Operations.
This is a part-time position working 10 hours per week during term time plus 3 weeks during the school holidays. It is a hybrid role with attendance at School when required.
Main responsibilities
Support to Director of Finance and Operations (DFO)
- Support the DFO’s administrative needs including the arranging of and preparation for meetings, minute taking, organisation of correspondence, composing letters, diary management, filing and being proactive in alerting the DFO to matters which require attention.
- Collation of bursary reports such eg DfE and ISC Census and annual update of Parent Contract.
- Manage the Supplier Contract Register.
- Manage the Secbursar email inbox.
Finance
- Manage the Bursary applications and renewals process including correspondence with parents, provision of further education letters and use of the Bursary Portal.
- Assist the management of parent and Visiting Music Teachers (VMT) debtors with the provision of debtor letters.
- Bursary filing for student/parent files including archiving at the end of the academic year.
- Reconcile and process the monthly credit card statements including obtaining all receipts and uploading onto the School’s financial system.
Compliance
- Company Secretarial and Charity Commission administrative duties including amending Trustees’ details, drafting annual Trustees’ Report and uploading Annual Returns.
- Managing insurance policies, schedules and certificates and managing insurance.
- Managing annual school licences such as Copyright, Recording, CCLI.
- A commitment to safeguarding our students in line with the School’s Child Protection Policy.
