Job description

We are looking to appoint a skilled and well-organised Administrator to join our Careers Department.

 

This is a permanent part-time role, working 30 hours per week over a minimum of 4 days Monday -Friday during term time plus 2 weeks to work during the School holidays.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff and employers, combined with strong administrative and organisational skills. This role would suit an individual with a background of careers advisory work within schools, higher or further education.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Create awareness of work experience programmes
  • Cultivating existing relationships with employers and developing new contacts.
  • Manage and support students applications with Oxbridge and UCAS applications.
  • Assist with organisation and deliver of careers events.
  • Contribute to communication of events in school and external publications.
