Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Lacrosse Specialist Coach to join our Physical Education Department from September 2025.

 

This position is a permanent position, with contracted weekly hours between 10-12 hours per week.

 

The successful candidate will have a high knowledge and understanding of teaching, coaching and umpiring lacrosse and have proven lacrosse experience at a high level. An enthusiasm and passion for sport with an ability to convey this to students is essential.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting teaching in lessons, taking small groups/aspects of the lesson as appropriate.
  • Coaching lacrosse teams and clubs during lunchtimes, after school sessions and at weekends.
  • Attending fixtures and umpiring appropriate matches.
  • Coaching elite performers 1:1.
  • Taking an active role within the department and an appropriate share of responsibilities for promoting sport and healthy active lifestyles.
